Hanukkah

We spent the weekend with Papa Rich and Grandma Sherry to celebrate Hanukkah. Mom-mom was supposed to come too, but stayed home because she wasn't feeling very good - and we really missed her!! We went to the Capitol to check out the tree and then to the Arboretum to see the holiday display including a very cool model train set that Isaac enjoyed watching go around the tree, and around the tree, and around...

Isaac had a great weekend, and got to open lots of presents - including some great clothes and his first very own Isaac-sized chair. He loves the chair - especially climbing on it, lounging on it, and dragging it across the room :) We also made latkes and took a trip to the mall to try to get a picture of Isaac on Santa's lap --great Hanukkah weekend activity ;) --but we were not alone in this goal and gave up when we realized the line would take about 2 hours. Instead we went to Nordstrom's and Isaac got his first pair of Uggs, which he has yet to take off!!

Finally, just a few cute pictures from the last couple of weeks and Isaac playing with some of his other Hanukkah gifts. He is a very lucky boy and got lots of gifts from Grandma (the car that he is now obsessed with and refuses to get out of during all waking hours), and Aunt Alli and Aunt Jen, among others. Let me just say that if Hanukkah is any indication of what's to come for Christmas, we need to buy a bigger house!!
