Water Water Everywhere

The last few weeks have included lots of swimming. Over the 4th of July weekend we went to our friends Matthew and Micaela's house on the Western edge of the Chesapeake in Maryland, where Isaac got to play with baby Killian and we all had a good time swimming in the Bay and playing in the sand.

This weekend Isaac had his first swimming lesson. We're taking a 4 week class at the JCC which had a lot more participants than we thought there would be - so there's no real hope of actually learning to swim. However, he did float a little and seemed to be getting more comfortable in the water after lots of bouncing around and splashing in the water.

Since he enjoyed the big pool, Bill blew up the inflatable pool we bought for the back yard so Isaac could have a place to splash around. For the inaugueral use, we had a pool party with the Sher family . Isaac was a little intimidated by Jake and Lucy's energy, but ultimatly warmed up and they all seemed to enjoy the pool (as did Bill when he took a dip to cool off after cooking us all a delicious brunch!)

Finally, just a cute video of Isaac wandering around the house and babbling.

So cute- and you remembered to turn your video camera! Little Isaac needs to teach big Henry that the water's not such a scary place! And we're totally checking out that building museum when we're in DC--great pics and every little boy needs an Aunt Rach!!
