Caitlin's first "recital"

We kept Isaac in school for the month of June (well, technically it switched to camp) so we wanted Caitlin to do something fun also.  Bill found a week long "fairy princess camp"- what could be cuter or more apropos? I was a little apprehensive about her first "drop-off" experience, but it was with her favorite art teacher at the art school she loves, and so she didn't miss a beat.  She was a little hesitant on day 1, so she made Bill promise to stay until she was comfortable - and reminded him of that promise many times on the drive there.  But after about 15 minutes she was so immersed in fairy princess activities, she didn't even notice he left.  They spent the week making art projects and learning dance moves for the big recital at the end of the week at noon (when do these other mom's work??  Thankfully, on this day I was able to work from home and check out the recital during lunch.) In any event, it was adorable and she couldn't have been more excited to see me walk in with Isaac and Mayensi, which made me so happy I did.  Here is the adorable grin I got when her class walked in and she saw me:
Here are some cute pictures of Cate and her class getting set up and doing their "dance".  Cate was the youngest in the class (technically it was for 3+) so she didn't quite get all the moves, but she was adorable and had a blast doing it --and can't wait for more dance lessons.

Her brother was very proud of her too - cheered her on the whole time :)
