Father's Day

We had a relatively low-key Father's Day this year.  We let Bill sleep in while the kids and I tried to make him Eggs Benedict - the thought was much appreciated, although the success of the dish was questionable. Then we did some swimming and headed to Boulder to meet Aunt Alli, Uncle Chad, and Sebastian for a scenic picnic lunch on Boulder creek.

Isaac made Bill cute presents at school and was so excited to give them to him.  He was most excited to give Bill the A&W root beer bottle because he thought we might let him finally drink some soda. 

Bill took the cue and made root beer floats for him and the kids as a perfect Father's Day dessert to the yummy Father's Day dinner he made for us and Grandma.  Bill and Isaac loved them, but like all things carbonated, Caitlin said it was "too spicy" and hurt to drink :)

Overall a really fun day for all of us!
