This past week was packed with fun stuff. First, on Wednesday, Isaac had a quick visit with Uncle Evan who stopped in for the night on his way to catch some Phish shows.

On Thursday, Isaac and Rach had a fun playdate with Ashton and Julia where Isaac was entertained for hours with all Ashton's cool toys. Being 6 months older, Ashton showed Isaac all the fun stuff he has to look forward to - cars, playing in a band - these two could be trouble :)

After two weeks away, Isaac finally went back to daycare at my office this Friday. He was excited to go and was greeted with love from his friends at daycare when he walked in. He had so much fun with Susan, Jennifer and Chelsea (and all the kids) that he didn't want to sleep ...the WHOLE day!!

He was very talkative in the bath on Thursday evening, this is the third video (the one where I remembered to cover up his "privates"!!) There is no good reason for me to be posting these pictures other than the fact that I think Isaac has the cutest tushie in the world. And, while we haven't started potty training yet, Isaac seems to be really quick on the uptake - he peed ON THE TOILET right after this last picture!

After generously agreeing to babysit on Friday night, we had a fun weekend with Papa Rich and Grandma Sherry. We decided to explore some of the fun free stuff that DC has to offer for kids. On Saturday we went to the Building Museum which has this enormous play area with lots of blocks and what felt like miles for the babies to crawl/run around. Isaac really loved it -as did Bill who kept trying to teach Isaac to build - guess what he loved doing? Yup, knocking them down!

We had a great Father's Day brunch on Sunday and then Papa Rich and Grandma Sherry hit the road and Isaac gave Bill the best Father's Day gift ever - he took a 2.5 hour morning nap so we got a nice Sunday nap too!

After we all woke up well rested, we decided to check out the Kids Farm - a section of the National Zoo dedicated to the little ones. There is a petting zoo where Isaac met a llama and had fun watching the goats. After that he played in a really fun area called the Pizza Garden, which is a big soft plastic pizza with toppings that the kids play on and crawl through. Needless to see he loved it - as did Bill :) and we will definitely be back!!

I love how he was singing to the animals! And I can't believe they had those cool things for a little one at the zoo and Bldg. Museum. And Wilson would be so disappointed in my house- unless Henry hates it, he's not giving up his food to anyone!
