In Memoriam

Isaac was extremely lucky to have FIVE great-grandparents in his life, with each of whom he has gotten to spend time. Unfortunately, this week our family suffered the loss of my grandfather Arnold Harris, known to us as Pop-Pop. We went to Delaware on Friday to spend a couple of days with Pop-Pop and the family before he died, and attended the funeral on Monday. These past few months as his health was failing, we would bring Isaac to see him and he would always smile and hold him. He was a wonderful grandfather (and great-grandfather) and will be missed a lot. Below are some pictures of Pop-Pop taken recently (some of which are already in other posts on this blog).

During our time in Delaware, Isaac got to meet more of his cousins, entertained everyone at the nursing home, and listened intently (or slept?) as we spent priceless time sitting around with the family recounting stories of my grandfather.
